A Cure for a Headache

One day a man went into a chemist\’s shop and said， \”Have you anything to cure a headache？\”

The chemist took a bottle from a shelf，held it under thegentle man\’s nose and took out the cork．The smell was so strong that tears came into the man\’s eyes and ran down his cheeks．

\”What did you do that for？\” he said angrily，as soon ashe could get back his breath．

\”But that medicine has cured your headache，hasn\’t it？\”said the chemist．

\”You fool，\” said the man，\”It\’s my wife that has thehead ache，not me！\”

一天，一个人走进药店，问道：“有治疗头痛的药吗？”药 商从架子上取下一个瓶子，把它放到买药人的鼻子下，然后 拔开瓶塞，药味太强烈了，买药人的眼睛里涌出了泪水，沿 着双颊流下来。
“你这是干什么？”买药人刚刚恢复常态之后，愤怒地问。
药商说：“不过，这种药却治好了你的头疼，不是吗？”
“你这个笨蛋。”买药人说，“头痛的是我老婆，不是我！”
