Annstaredworklastsummer,soshedidn\’thaveaholiday,Shesavedasmuchasshecouldand,in

January,shebookedapackagetriptoRoss,inSpain.SheleftLondonairportearlyonthemorning

ofthefirstSaturdayinAugust.Shewasveryexcited,asthiswasherfirsttripaborad.Duringthe

flighttheyhadasnack,andwhentheyarrivedatBarcelojmaairport,aspecialbuswasreadytotake

themtotheirhotelinRosas.TheweatherwasbeautifulandAnnenjoyedthebustrip.

Atthehotel,shecheckedin,andthenwenttoherroomtochangebeforedinner.Shewasjustreadyto

godownstairs,whenshefoundthatherSpanishmoneywasn\’tinherhandbag.Shecarefullylookedin

allherluggage,butshecouldn\’tfindit.AllshehadwasasmallpursewithtenEnglishpoundnotes

init!

AnnfoundaplacetochangeherEnglishmoney.Shehadveryfewpesetas,andshewouldbeherefortwo

weeks.Onherwaybacktothehotel,Annboughtsomecheese,somebreadandsomeoranges.Whenshegot

back,shetoldthemanagerthatherdoctorhadtoldhernottoeatSpanishfood;she\’djusthavebreak

fasteachday.Thiswasallright,assheknewthepriceofhotelincludedbreakfast.

Fortherestofherholiday,Annswaminthehotelswimimgpool,orlayonthebeachandgotasuntan.

Shealsowentforlongwalkswithoneoftheotherswenttointerestingplaces,shealwayssaidshe

wasn\’twell.Infact,herholidaywasn\’tbad,exceptthatshewasalwayshungry.Afterall,apieceof

fruitforlunch,andbreadandcheeseforsupperisn\’tverymuch…especiallynotfortwoweeks!

Lateintheafternoonoftheirlastday,AnnandJanewereonthebeach.Janeaskedherwhyshenever

atewiththeminthehotelrestaurant.Thefoodwasexcellent.Anntoldherallabouthermoney

problem.Janelookedatherforaminrte,andthensaid,\”Butdidn\’tyouknow?Thepriceofthis

holidayincludesabsolutelyeverything!

安去年夏天刚参加工作，还没有过假期。她尽量省钱，于是在今年一月，订了由旅行社包办一切的到西班牙罗萨

斯去旅游的票。八月的第一个星期六的早上，离开了伦敦飞机场。她高兴极了，因为这是她第一次出国旅游。在飞

行中他们吃了一份点心，到达巴塞罗那机场时，一辆专车已准备好并且把他们送到了罗萨斯的一个旅馆。天气好极

了。安尽情地享受着汽车旅行的乐趣。

到了旅馆登记后，她就来到了她的房间，准备在晚饭前把钱兑换好。正当她准备下楼时，她突然发现她在西班牙

钱币没有她的手提包里。仔细地找遍了所有的旅行袋，但是都没有找到。她的全部所有就是一个小钱包里的十英镑

票。

安找到了一个地方兑换她的英镑。只有委很少一点西班牙钱币，但她在这儿还要呆两个星期！中回旅馆的路上安

买了一些乳酪、面包和桔子食品；每天她在这儿只吃早餐。这是可以的，因为她知道旅馆费里包括了早餐费。

在她假期的以后的日子里，安在旅馆里游泳，躺在沙滩人进行日光浴，她还跟另一个旅游者，一个叫珍的苏格兰

女孩一起远行。但是，当别人要到一些有趣的地方无能为去时，她却总是说他不舒服。毕竟，中午只吃一点水果，

晚上只吃一点面包和乳酪是不够的，尤其还是两个星期都是这样！

假期最后一天的一个下午，安和珍躺在沙滩上。珍问为什么从不跟他们一起在旅馆的餐厅里吃饭。那里的

饮食真是好极了！安把自己的金钱困境全告诉了她。珍看了她一会儿，然后说，“但是难道你不知道？这次度假的收

费是包揽一切的呀！”
