Changing Your Tune

( what you do or say now is different from before … )

When the story that you are telling people has changed, you have changed your tune. Example: \”She always said she would never get married, but now she\’s the one getting married.\” Reply: \”She has changed her tune.\”

Your belief has changed, so you are talking or acting differently, when you have changed your tune. Example: \”I thought you said that driving your car in traffic does not bother you?\” Reply: \”Well, I am changing my tune.\”

You change your tune when what you do or say now is different from before. Example: \”My father was very critical of people using cell phones, but now he has changed his tune.\”
